Custom 304 stainless steel cages for Chinese hwameis
This category covers made-to-order cages for the Chinese hwamei (Garrulax canorus), the species commonly called “họa mi” in the source Vietnamese category. If your bird is known by another local or trade name, send a clear photograph and the accepted English or scientific name where possible. Species confirmation comes before bar spacing, doors or accessories are finalised.
Plan the usable interior, not only the outside shape
A decorative roof or compact footprint does not by itself show whether the cage has enough clear space. We review the distance between principal perches, wing and tail clearance, feeder positions, the main access door and the route for removing the waste tray. Perches and cups should not fill the central movement area or force the bird to sit directly above food and water.
- Clear movement space: preserve an uncluttered area for turning, hopping and full wing movement.
- Species-specific gaps: confirm the main bars as well as gaps around doors, feeders, tray guides and removable parts.
- Perch layout: agree suitable perch diameters and positions before fixing brackets to the frame.
- Daily access: place doors, cups and the tray so routine care does not require dismantling the cage.
- Stable installation: state whether the cage will hang, stand on a pedestal or sit on a defined surface.
No universal size or bar spacing is assumed
Bật Mạnh does not publish one cage size or one bar gap as suitable for every bird sold as a hwamei. The final specification depends on the identified bird, its adult body and head size, the intended time in the cage, the perch plan and the installation method. A reference image can guide the style, but its hidden dimensions and gaps must not be copied without checking.
304 stainless steel construction and cleaning
The frame, bars, doors and tray system can be fabricated in 304 stainless steel. Bird-contact edges and welds are finished for practical use, and the selected structure is checked for alignment and rigidity. A removable waste tray and accessible feeding points make regular cleaning easier; the exact tray direction should be agreed before production.
